1月12日 crazy and movies and birthday's oh my OK this is going to drive me completely insane
and trust me with four teenagers a dog , a cat AND a hubby
I don't have too far to go
I have tried at home on my computer
as well as compters at my office
and at work
and I still cant change the colors on this blog site

The only thing I can change
as you can tell
is the "theme"
I cant change the colors of
ANYTHING
not the type, not the borders, the links

I have asked for help from msn
but they tell me
it's something with the settings on my computer

now for the movie part
some friends and I went and saw
The Good Shepherd
good move

Matt Damon was good though
he is such a little cutie
not as "holy mother of God" cute like Johnny Depp
 or George Clooney
but a cutie none the less
It was a long movie too
but it did keep your attention
oh yes and that guy that was sitting in front of me and my friends

We also went and saw
Night at the museum
it was cute
funny
but what we really wanted for our GNO
(girls night out)
was a "chick flick"
alas there was none to be had
We had already seen
The Holiday
I admit it
when I go to the movies
i like chick flicks
I love them
I like the other movies too
the "make you think ones"
and I love a good suspense chiller
but come on

Well my birthday week continues
thank you all for my wishes
It started with birthday dinner , cake and icecream
made by my mom
and my sis-in-law Tami
awesome gifts from my family
 including a scrumptious basket
of Godiva chocolate's
from my hubby
assorted lunches,dinners, movies with my girlfriends
along with more really cool gifts
I am truly blessed
Today my girlfriend Sandy
whom I roomed with in college,
so we have been friends for.......
a really long time
went and had a pedicure then out to lunch
ahh yes catching up on gossip
while our feet get stimulated
massaged
decalloused
and made all around
silky smooth
not to mention painted a pretty pink
what a life
unfortunatly all good things must come to an end
tonight it's back to work
at least I will go back refreshed
looking and smelling
pretty damn good

Happy Birthday 1月2日 well it's officialSo it's official,
the holiday season is over.
Well in my book anyway.
In 35 minutes it will be January 2nd.
Christmas is over, the new year has started.
Time to take down the tree
and pack away the memories.
I hope you all had a good, peaceful, holiday.
Mine was mixed.
On the upside
I spent some quality time with family and friends,
time filled with love and laughter.
I made a few new friends
brought smiles to some underprivledged children 's faces.
I had my children all together under one roof,
heard their laughter,
and saw the excitment in their faces
as they presented their gifts to others.
On the downside, some things happened
( and didnt happen)
that saddened me greatly
made me sit back and ask the eternal question,
what the f am I doing here?
There are now people I am having a hard time trusting
and I hate that.
There are also some tough decesions
that need to be made
But back to the upside,
it's a new year,
and with that a new chance.
Time to look ahead and
not dwell on the past,
except to learn from it.

~12月12日 at least I think it's Decemberok let me back up a few blogs.
First I was bragging,
well not really bragging,
how great it was that I was putting up the Christmas lights in jeans and a tee-shirt cuz the weather was 65.
now fast forward to my last blog
with pictures of my house with snow.
Ok now in keeping with Cleveland and it's ever changing weather pattern and the fact that i swear
when Mother Nature looks down on Cleveland ,
she is looking down from the other end of a crack pipe,
the weather tomorrow is back to 60's .
Gotta just love Cleveland.
Well I have been on vaca for about 10 days now
and have quite a bit accomplished.
I have also managed to have some fun too!
Picture this.
Crocker Park,
which is this awesome little shopping,resturant community,
the weather is cold enough to make your cheeks pink
but not freezing. ( unless of course your Marcia
 ) There is still some snow left,
the place is all dressed up for Christmas.
Now picture this,
you are with your girlfriends.
You have a great dinner at the Bistro
and are walking through the center of the complex,
the outdoor fire places are blazing,
you stop and get those things that start wiht a B
( fried bread dough in powered sugar)
fresh from an outdoor vendor,
grab some special coffee from Starbucks
and browse through Barnes and Noble,
all the while laughing so hard your sides hurt.

12月7日 yep it's December alrightOK so last blog I went on about the unbelievable weather we were having.

Well I got alot of my Christmas shopping done while on vacation this week.
I even managed to get some candy made and a few cookies baked. Went to the movies and saw
It was really very good and Denzel was great , as usual. A few other things happened , but thats for another time. So until then Stay warm, enjoy the Christmas atmosphere

MSN is seriously pissing me off
 I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to change
the freakin colors on this space
BUT
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MSN has other ideas
so I went over to my "other " space
changed the colors
and
Viola
they changed over there
they even changed back when I wanted them too
but here
where I WANT to change the colors I cant
So I sent off I little help e-mail to spaces
I expect to hear from them
NOT!
 OK now
back to the real reason for todays blog
"unbelievable"
that would be the weather in my neck of the woods this weekend
something strange when in Ohio you are hanging your outside Christmas lights
at the end of November
and your doing it in tee-shirt and jeans
the weather has been absolutely beautiful this weekend
you would never know
that wicked white stuff
was just around the corner
So after putting up the outside lights we put up the tree
A bit early but Steve was home from college for Thanksgiving
and won't be back till middle of December
so up it went
but instead of drinking hot chocolate
 with the furnance kicking in keeping us toasty warm
it was pop and pizza
with the front door and some of the windows open

Well tomorrow is cyber Monday
It is supposedly the biggest online shopping day of the year
 is it?
or is it the retail world 's ploy to increase online sales?
I mean I never heard of cyber Monday before
is it the wimpy version of Black Friday?

of fight with the massess on black Friday?
What fun is that?
You cant seriously be called a shopper
it would be like the "toddler" of shoppers
Well I was out 2am

and a great price too!

A husband who at 10 o'clock at night is making me an omlet cuz he knows I slept through dinner and who still comes home from the store with little presents for me Teenagers:
Who will drive me insane I am sure of it, but who I wouldnt trade for anything in the world. Who keep my house full of noise and laughter, and who I miss terribly when any of them are gone for too long. Parents:
Who still to this day love and support me in everything I do. Who I cant imagine a day without. Brother: Who is ALWAYS there for his kid sister Sister-in-laws: tolaugh, share secrets and beat at cards Cousins,aunts,uncles, for which I have so many: To remind me of where and what I come from .Oh yes and also drink and get crazy with . My girlfriends Who make me laugh till my stomach hurts, and make me laugh even harder when i am down My faith: My faith in God, who gets me through when I think I can't
So from my to yours, may you all have a blessed Thanksgiving

11月7日 It's been awhileWOW...... I haven't been here to update in quite a long time. Been spending some time at My other side and kinda neglecting this one. Not much new around here. I have a job interview next week, ( thinking about changing places , same hospital so everything stays the same, just going to a satelite clinic -day shift- omg i wont know how to act during the day time :) Anyways been working on a resume. Hubby and I went away for our 25th wedding anniversery. Just the two of us............it was wonderful. Rented this beautiful , quaint cabin in the middle of nowhere. ...........awesome........
Oh yeah one more thing...Have you guys been watching wow I knew this season was going to be awesome. So what do you think? Think Juliet is being honest with the whole "holding up the cards " thing? or think its a trick?Like she is testing him... and what about Eko? Check out the link above for the preview for this week. 10月12日 тнιѕ ωєєк ιи α иυтѕнєℓℓOK so I am on vaca this week !!!YEAH!!! and I decided that I would do something constructive.
So one day I scrubbed my kitchen down, I mean I scrubbed it. My cupboards now glisten. Fingerprints and general ewweeee are gone. Next I tackled the downstairs bathroom and the computer room. I took everything off the walls , patched them, sanded them then scrubbed them. Today I painted the bathroom a pretty sage green. Tomorrow I am going to sponge it with a darker green , then paint the computer room.
One thing though. The stuff I used to clean the walls & or cupboards with I must be allergic to. My skin on my right hand( I am right handed) is PEELING OFF!
I just knew I wasnt meant to clean!!
  I have been doing other, more enjoyable things this week also.
Went to an apple orchard with my girlfriend Sandy and picked apples. It was a
beautiful fall day
For those of you who live in a climate where the seasons don't make much of a change
let me tell you.
Beautiful sunny day,
high 60's low 70's
with just a hint of crispness in the air.
Leaves turning their fiery red, brilliant oranges and yellows.
 Perfection
Also went to dinner a few times with the girls.
 Hubby and I also celebrated our 25th wedding anniversery!!
 Yep 25 years. Wow huh?
And yes I was a child bride
:)
 Actually we are going out on a date Saturday night to celebrate
and in a few weeks we are taking a long
weekend together.
Alone
NO KIDS!!
I can't wait.
Another exciting thing is my son Steve
is comming home from college this weekend.
YEAH
I can't wait to see him
I really miss him
I am supposed to go to Crocker Park this week with some friends for dinner and a movie
I love Crocker Park
  So that will be cool
And last but not least
 Uh huh started back up last week. I think this is going to be a kick-ass season. The first season rocked, the second season was
ok
but I like where this story line is going so far.

10月2日 кι∂ѕOK Well it's been awhile since I did anything here but I see by my stats some of you guys are still slippin in and some of you have been going to the "other" sight of mine. Thanks for both.
Summer is over ( hence the color change) and fall is here. Although I love summer and the beach, I love fall.
It's like everything has exploded in this beautiful massive color. The leaves havent turned yet here but you can tell its on its way, you can feel it in the air.
So I have been outside enjoying the beautiful weather, putting out fall decorations and such
and the little neighborhood kids have been over to "help"
omg they crack me up, they say the funniest things sometimes, but with this dead serious face, because they are, serious . I try so hard not to laugh but as soon as they turn their backs I am cracking up!
So I am checking my e-mail this evening and I get this e-mail from a friend and I think "how appropriate" that I thought I would share it with you
GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:
1) No matter how hard you try, you can't bap tize cats. 2) When your Mom is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair. 3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person. 4) Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato. 5) You can't trust dogs to watch your food. 6) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair. 7) Never hold a Dust-Buster and a cat at the same time. 8) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk. 9) Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts. 10) The best place to be when you're sad is Grandpa's lap.

 Remembering
When I was a little girl I remember my mom saying how she would never forget what she was doing the moment Kennedy was shot. She would go on to tell the story.
My uncles would say they would never forget Pearl Harbor
Well for this generation who will forget what they were doing when the devasting news hit on September 11.
I remember exactly what I was doing
I was in the middle of a meeting at one of the local hospitals with social workers and local clergy.
Someone broke into the meeting and told us .
At 8:46 a.m. the American Flight 11 from Boston crashes into the North United Flight 175 from Boston crashing into the South
My first emotion, as I am sure was everyones, was shock and disbelief. Surley there had been a mistake. This was America for heavens sake. Things like that don't happen here, not to us. My generation wasnt old enough to remember Kennedy or Pearl Harbor But as we scrambled to watch the news we sat there in terror and disbelief.Our first instinct was the saftey of our family, our children. I remember anxiously for my kids to get home so I could just hold them. I thought of the children who would now not have their mother or father to hold them.
As the news unfolded we learned of The Pentagon
and of United flight 93 crashing in PA Again shock and disbelief In the days and months that followed a terrifired nation grouped together to rebuild itself .
We were , after all United States of America
I am not going to turn this into a political platform. That is not my purpose here. Instead, take a moment Just take a moment Remember and never , never forget
9月5日 тнє єи∂ σf тнє ѕυммєя So I have all these aunts uncles and cousins , and everyother year we rent this big cabin in Pa and get together. It's a blast, lot of lauging, playing, drinking, reminiscing and good eating. It's from Friday night to Monday ,most peeps comming on Saturday, family wandering in and out all weekend. Those of us there for the long haul stay at the cabin. It sleeps around 25 people. Saturday , the actual day of the reunion , there were around 80 people The farthest cousins comming from Virginia and Georgia. It is awesome for us cousins, who have always been close, seeing our kids hanging out and having a blast together. There was the annual hike the kids take , this year lead by my cousin Patty' s hubby Mark. Yep and they got lost again, gone for about 4 hours. The kids say though thats the fun part. We don't worry cuz they always seem to find there way back. There was the white elephant auction, everyone bringing a wrapped object to be auctioned off on Sat. Some of the stuff is halarious, some nice, some just plain junk. You never know what your bidding on. This is how we get the money for the next reunion. It rained all of Saturday so most of us hung inside the cabin. Between the enclosed back porch, the living room and dinning hall, there were different things going on. The kids ventured out for a bit then hung out on the back porch playing poker or upstairs in one of the rooms watching movies on a portable DVD player. and spoons. Some of the guys were in the living room watching , of course, the Penn State game. Then some of us were in the dinning hall playing games. The big game this year was a dice game " Left Right Center" By Sat. night the rain finally stopped and they could even make a fire. Sunday's weather was much better, no rain, so we were all able to hang outside. Sunday night we had a huge bonfire, somemores, hotdogs and hobo pies.
It was a great weekend 8月30日 that time again SSSHHHHHHHHHH do you hear that?
It's silence..................Till 3:30 when they come back home flinging bookbags and papers and shoes exclaiming " That teacher is so stupid"
"He/she is not in any of my classes"
"OMG guess what happened??"
